I have 3 approaches when taking your photographs. I photograph each part of the day, such as preparations, from a photo-journalist viewpoint, which means I simply take photos of what happens and record the details such as your dress, jewellery, flowers etc.

Secondly after the ceremony in addition to capturing the spontaneity I will stage all the formal shots and arrange the family groups that you would expect.

The third approach is probably my favourite. I take you both away from your guests just for 15 - 30 minutes, to find the most picturesque locations at your venue. This makes for some very emotional photographs, as in no time you'll forget that I am there and just relax and enjoy what will probably be your first moments alone that day.

After this I will do some fun stuff, either alone or with the bridal party, or maybe both, time permitting. Add some candid shots of you and your guests at the reception, cutting the cake, the speeches and the first dance and you have a complete story of the day recorded in photographs.
